Methodology v1.0 · 2026-04-26
Ash Reserve — community-verified watchdog reviews.
Withdrawal proofs, payout-time logs, fairness verifications, complaint clusters — submitted by the community, verified by moderators, scored against a published rubric. Mystery box pilot launching with twelve operators. Every score change is publicly logged with the evidence that triggered it.
The Reserve Score
Six dimensions, each scored 0-10. Composite is a weighted sum scaled to 0-100. Verified community evidence maps directly onto the sub-criteria — moderators verify, the rubric scores.
- Provably-Fair Quality25%
- Whether a user can independently verify each roll wasn't manipulated, end-to-end, including the item-mapping leg.
- Odds & EV Transparency20%
- Whether a player can compute expected value before opening a box, and whether the published numbers actually add up.
- Withdrawal & Redemption15%
- Can players actually get their winnings off the platform — quickly, predictably, and without arbitrary holds?
- Item Value Integrity15%
- Whether the item values shown on the site match real-world market prices, and how punitive the cash-out ratio is.
- License & Jurisdiction15%
- Calibrated to the mystery-box vertical: the entire vertical's licensing posture is weak relative to mainstream casinos. A 7/10 here is materially less reassuring than 7/10 for a UKGC sportsbook.
- Operator Conduct10%
- How the operator behaves with players over time — community sentiment, scandal transparency, data handling, responsible-gambling tools.
First reviews land in Phase 3.
Methodology is live now. Twelve mystery-box operator audits — eight skin-based and four physical — publish over weeks 4-6.

Or a payout-time log, a fairness-verifier output, a license-register screenshot? That's the kind of thing that moves a Reserve Score. Anyone can submit; anyone can audit the trail.
